Welcome to 2026! We are sending out confirmation email for cottage reservations and deposits, and then our cottage and campsites will open for reservations shortly. We look forward to seeing you at our park this summer! If you are attending the Pat Wolfe Log Building School Spring or Fall course, you can find details for accommodation options under the "Cottages" menu at the top of the screen.

ABOUT BLACK ROCK PARK

We’re part of a 350-acre family-owned property located on the west shore of Clayton Lake in the heart of beautiful Lanark County, less than an hour’s drive from downtown Ottawa.

We have six fully furnished cottages available to rent, plus 65 seasonal and 10 overnight campsites.

COTTAGES

We offer six fully-equipped rental cottages with lake views, fire pits, air conditioning units, barbecues, WIFI and much more.

Campground

We have 65 seasonal campsites and an additional 15 overnight transient camping sites, including both tent and trailer sites. Our two large, secluded group sites provide the perfect setting for your family gatherings.

BOAT LAUNCH

Open to guests at the park, our sand boat launch allows for central access to Clayton Lake and Taylor Lake. Note: Boat launch use is for registered guests only.

Sand Beach

Guests of the park can enjoy the beach area that features a sand beach, covered picnic area, sand volleyball court, and basketball net. Note: Beach use is for registered guests only.

Your children can enjoy our centrally located playground while you relax under one of our two covered areas.

WALKING TRAILS

Guests can discover the tranquil beauty of the maple forest while taking in our self guided walking tours along the shores of scenic Clayton Lake.

OUR COTTAGES

A note that our cottages are rented by the week (Friday to Friday) from May to October.

Short-Stay Specials

Our usual minimum stay is seven nights, from Friday to Friday.
However, cottages may sometimes be available for a minimum three-night stay, depending on how busy we are.
Prices per night are slightly higher for short stays.
